Carrie Cousins
Strategy powerhouse Carrie Cousins is a recognized marketing leader with interdisciplinary experience in marketing, writing, design, and media. Carrie leverages her considerable suite of skills as Vice President of LeadPoint Digital in Roanoke, VA where she brings her 15+ years of experience to help businesses tell their story and get better results online with practical digital marketing strategies.
Carrie has built several award-winning marketing programs including LeadPoint Digital, which are consistently recognized as best in class in the industry. She holds awards from PRSA Blue Ridge, American Advertising Federation (AAF), and Outdoor Media Summit that celebrate her expertise and business acumen. As a writer, her work has been featured in publications such as Design Shack, Webdesigner Depot, The Next Web, and Fast Company.
In addition to her work at LeadPoint, Carrie is past president of AAF Roanoke and current Lt. Governor of District 3 (serving Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina). She has been featured on Blue Ridge PBS and nationally on Buzz4Good, where she helps nonprofits get more from their marketing efforts. Carrie is also an adjunct professor at the School of Communication at Virginia Tech, teaching Ad Writing & Storytelling and Ad Ethics & Social Responsibility.
Carrie holds an MBA and BA in Communication from Virginia Tech, is a Certified Digital Consultant, and boasts Google and Facebook Community Marketing certifications.
