LeadPoint Digital Brings Home 5 PRSA Blue Ridge Summit Awards for Client Work

LeadPoint Digital won five awards in the 2024 Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Blue Ridge Summit Awards. The honors were handed out on Feb. 27, 2025, at a luncheon and were for work done between October 2023 and September 2024.
The PRSA Blue Ridge chapter is a professional association serving Central and Southwest Virginia public relations practitioners. With awards for five different client projects, LeadPoint Digital stood out at this year’s Summit Awards for excellence and outstanding contributions to the communications field. Gold awards are the highest scoring in their respective categories.

LeadPoint Digital, a Roanoke-based marketing agency, submitted client projects in eight categories: earned media, public service announcement, shared media, public relations campaign, internal communications, website, paid media, and special events. Each sample is an example of a results-driven strategy. Here’s a look at each winning campaign.
PAID MEDIA TACTICS
Bridgewater Grande Google Ads, Silver
Bridgewater Grande is Smith Mountain Lake’s newest luxury waterfront community with 30 lots. LeadPoint Digital partnered with The Willard Companies and Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Smith Mountain Lake Real Estate in March 2024 to create a digital marketing program to increase awareness and drive sales for Bridgewater Grande. The strategy included Google Ads and Facebook Ads to drive awareness, capture leads, and generate sales. The results of the campaign have thus far exceeded The Willard Company and BHHS SML expectations, with a number of lots already being sold thanks to this awareness.
CarolinasDentist Google Ads, Gold
CarolinasDentist, a family dental practice with 13 locations in North Carolina, partnered with LeadPoint Digital to revolutionize their Google Ads. Leveraging CarolinasDentist’s historical data analysis and LeadPoint’s AI/machine learning technology, LeadPoint Digital developed a hyper-targeted Google Ads campaign that returned a 431% increase in new patient leads and increased booked appointment rates by 10%. The campaign was a success with decreased costs per new patient lead as well as significantly more new leads per month for CarolinasDentist.
MARKETING PRODUCTS OR SERVICES CAMPAIGNS
Yancey Bros. Search Engine Optimization Marketing Program, Silver
Yancey Bros. is Georgia’s Caterpillar dealer and the oldest Caterpillar dealer in the United States. Yancey worked with LeadPoint Digital to improve search engine visibility and attract Yancey’s target audience via search engine optimization. The goal of the program is to increase Yancey’s search engine visibility year-over-year and continue to attract a target audience that will most likely turn into a lead for rental equipment, new equipment, used equipment, and heavy equipment repair and service. The end result included double-digit increases across all line items.
River Run Dental Spa, Gold
River Run Dental Spa is a family dental practice with six locations throughout Richmond, VA. River Run engaged with LeadPoint Digital to implement a comprehensive search engine marketing strategy utilizing Google Ads, search engine optimization, and Google map listings. The program’s goal is to increase new patient leads, booked appointments, and revenue generated year over year. The results of the campaign far exceeded River Run Dental’s year-over-year expectations, with double-digit growth in multiple categories.
SPECIAL EVENT (2 DAYS OR LESS)
RBTC’s TechNite, Gold
TechNite is the annual celebration of the Roanoke-Blacksburg region’s technology community, hosted by the Roanoke-Blacksburg Technology Council (RBTC). The evening includes a keynote speaker and awards presentation to celebrate leaders, innovators, and companies in the regional tech community. RBTC’s goal was to sell out the 2024 event at 350 attendees, a 12.5% increase over the previous year’s goal. TechNite’s “Elements of Tech” was a huge success. The event on May 8, 2024, at the Hotel Roanoke in Roanoke, VA, was a sellout, and capacity had to be added to the event.
